Be Prepared

I have been able to hold down a very good job (either coach or manager) at the Major League level because I have spent 1,000's of hours preparing for baseball games.

By preparing my team for our opponents' tendencies we were never surprised by anything they did. We did not always win, because sometimes our abilities could not match our opponent's.

I have been in 4 World Series and when we did have players with ability, being prepared was a main reason for our success.

It does not take great ability to be prepared, but it does take a lot of time and work. If you are prepared for whatever you attempt to do, you will have a chance to succeed.

Good Luck,
